Artist statement

My practice operates at the intersection of Neo-Pop and metamodernism, where image, repetition, and contradiction function as active tools rather than fixed conclusions. Drawing from pop culture, art history, and personal memory, my work constructs a visual language that oscillates between irony and sincerity, control and spontaneity.
More recently, my work has consciously embraced metamodernism, exploring this constant movement between opposing forces. Visual similarities that appear across the body of work are intentional—recurrent forms that act as echoes rather than formulas. Each piece revisits familiar imagery while subtly shifting its emotional, cultural, or symbolic weight, allowing meaning to remain fluid, layered, and unresolved.
This approach reflects the metamodern condition: a continuous oscillation between past and present, abstraction and figuration, structure and intuition. What may appear as inconsistency is, in fact, a deliberate strategy—an open system where repetition, variation, and contradiction coexist. Through this process, the work resists closure, inviting viewers into a space of ambiguity, reflection, and emotional resonance.
